Two trades, one standard

AD Cleaning and Painting Professional Services was built by Haydee Ojeda Melgarejo on a simple idea: the two things that make the biggest difference to how a home or an office feels — how clean it is and how its walls look — should be done by the same careful hands, to the same standard. We started with cleaning, added painting because customers kept asking, and added limewash and Venetian plaster because we wanted to offer walls that no ordinary paint job can match.

Working in Manhattan teaches you things a product label never will. The black dust that comes in off the avenues and settles on every sill by the next morning. Radiators that bake grime onto the wall behind them each winter. Pre-war plaster that needs a different primer from new drywall. Co-op boards with work-hours windows, supers with freight-elevator rules, landlords with fourteen days to return a deposit. We've learned all of it on the job, and it shows in apartments that stay clean and walls that stay beautiful.

Today we handle regular, move-in/move-out, post-construction and office cleaning, and interior painting, limewash and Venetian plaster — for apartments, brownstones, offices and storefronts from the Financial District to Inwood — with Haydee on every job. We're open Monday to Saturday, 8 AM to 6 PM, we work in English and Spanish, every estimate is free, and new customers take 15% off their first service.
