The Upper East Side has the highest concentration of regular customers we have: families in the big pre-war apartments off Park and Fifth, co-ops and condos in Lenox Hill and Yorkville, and townhouses in Carnegie Hill and the East 60s and 70s. Most of that work is weekly or bi-weekly cleaning on a fixed day, with a deep clean before the holidays and after the summer.
It is also where we do the most decorative finishing. Limewash bedrooms and dining rooms, a Venetian plaster powder room or fireplace wall, a full repaint after a co-op alteration — the apartments here are worth finishing properly, and the buildings expect a contractor who knows the alteration rules, the work-hours windows and the service elevator. We do, and we leave the hallway as clean as the apartment.
